Account data sharing for a better customer experience

Account Information Service APIs are used by developers of regulated, licensed third-party providers, account information service providers and financial institutions. They allow account information service providers to build their own services or products based on the data the customer has shared with them.

Account Information Services use APIs of the account holding bank to share account information with account information service providers. The account information service provider first presents a consent flow to the account holder in the KBC environment to get his or her permission to use the Account Information Services. They can then use the Account Information Service APIs to plug the customer’s account information into the third-party provider’s applications to offer a better customer experience.
