A Partnership Frame Agreement is the legal backbone that applies to all future collaborations between KBC and a partner. It contains basic but necessary legal arrangements. Certain collaborations also require a Partnership Specific Agreement. Such a Partnership Specific Agreement falls under – and therefore incorporates  – the Partnership Frame Agreement.  The guiding principles of the Partnership Frame Agreement are ‘partnership’ (the equality of the parties), ‘simplicity’ (no excess content) and ‘fit for purpose’. The Partnership Frame Agreement continues to be in force even if no Partnership Specific Agreement is in place for a period of time.
